Dr. Romergryko Geocadin is Professor of Neurology, Anesthesiology-Critical Care Medicine and Neurosurgery at the Johns Hopkins University and co-director of the Johns Hopkins Encephalitis Center. He is past president of the Neurocritical Care Society. His research interest is in mechanisms and management of disorders of consciousness in the ICU, particularly cardiac arrest brain injury in the laboratory and clinical setting. He has led or participated in several practice guidelines and scientific statements panels for several neurologic or intensive care organizations. For the ANA, Dr. Geocadin is the chair of the Neurocritical Care SIG and chair of the Online Educational Taskforce.
