Noah Basri, Medical Student
Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis
Noah Basri is pursuing an MD degree at Washington University School of Medicine. As a David F. Silbert Fellow and member of the Ting Wang Lab, his current work explores novel ways to interrogate the epigenetic landscape using CRISPR. Noah is passionate about translating cutting edge basic science advances into improvements in clinical care. Previously, at Columbia University he co-developed an RNAi–based, solid-tumor cancer therapeutic delivered by E. coli. His undergraduate research in affiliation with Mount Sinai sought to elucidate the role of the ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling protein CHD6 in gliomagenesis.
