Nicole Chiota-McCollum, MD, MeD

Dr. Nicole Chiota-McCollum is the Neurology Residency Program Director and Vice Chair of Education in the Department of Neurology at the University of Virginia.  A graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine, neurology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL, and vascular neurology fellowship at the University of Virginia, she sought additional training in education by completing a Masters of Education in Health Professions from Johns Hopkins University.  She is an enthusiastic advocate for authentic workplace assessment of GME trainees and serves as a member of the ACGME Milestones 2.0 workgroups for both Neurology and Vascular Neurology.
