May Kim-Tenser, MD (Chair/Speaker)

Dr. Kim-Tenser is board certified in Neurology, Vascular Neurology, and Neurocritical Care.
She is the Medical Director of the Neurosciences ICU at Keck Hospital of USC. She specializes in the diagnosis and management of patients with stroke and those who are Neurocritically ill requiring admission into the Neurosciences ICU. She trained in Neurology at the George Washington University Hospital in D.C and fellowships in Stroke and Neurocritical Care at Stanford University Medical Center and USC+LAC, respectively and has been on faculty at Keck Hospital since 2008. She serves as the USC Department of Neurology’s physician champion for Care Delivery & Redesign and has a special interest in Quality healthcare delivery.
Dr. Kim-Tenser is currently finishing a Master’s in Health Administration (MHA) at the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy in Los Angeles, CA.
