Marissa Anto, MD, MSc

Marissa Anto is a PGY-5 Neurology Resident at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She completed her BA in History of Art and Architecture from Harvard in 2008 and her MSc in public health from the London School of Economic in 2009. She graduated from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 2016 and completed her Pediatrics training there in 2018. Her research focuses on the relationship between adverse childhood experiences and headache burden and disability. By better understanding this relationship, she hopes to change how headache neurologists screen and treat patients by highlighting the role of ACEs and trauma-informed care.
