Jennifer Adrissi, MD

Dr. Jennifer Adrissi is a Movement Disorders fellow at Northwestern. Her research interests include health disparities in Parkinson’s disease and the development of sustainable community-partnered interventions. She was instrumental in starting the Chicago Movement Coalition, an alliance between community and academic partners aimed to increase Parkinson’s disease education and access to resources in underserved areas of Chicago. She is also the 2020 ANA International Outreach Scholarship recipient and will be returning to Zambia to complete a needs assessment for patients with Parkinson’s disease and their care-partners.  In addition to her clinical work and research, her interests include the development and delivery of support resources for underrepresented minority medical students and trainees.
