Massachusetts General Hospital

Dr. James Berry is the Chief of the Division of ALS and Motor Neuron Diseases at Massachusetts General Hospital, Director of the MGH Neurological Clinical Research Institute and an ALS clinical researcher at the Healey Center for ALS at MGH.  For a decade, he has led efforts to create a large, high-quality ALS biorepository with uniformly collected samples ((plasma, serum, RNA, DNA, PBMC, skin biopsies/fibroblasts, and CSF)) and accompanying phenotypic data.  In his research, he investigates the role of neuroinflammation in ALS, tests novel digital outcome measures, and designs and leads ALS trials.
