Guillermo E. Solorzano, MD, MSc (Chair)

Guillermo Solorzano is an associate professor of neurology at the University of Virginia. He is board certified in Neurology and Neuromuscular Medicine. He received his undergraduate degree and medical degrees from the University of Virginia. He completed his neurology residency training at UCLA and fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology EMG in at the University of Virginia. He practices as a neurohospitalist and neuromuscular specialist. He ran the neurology clerkship for six years and is currently the Neuromuscular Medicine fellowship director. He serves in the leadership of the University of Virginia Health System Neurosciences and Behavioral Health Service Line where he helps oversee clinical operations and quality improvement efforts in the neurosciences.
