David Stewart is a fourth-year medical student at Duke University School of Medicine. He received his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from Duke University. He has been performing his research as a visiting scholar at the University of Pennsylvania where he focuses on the intersection of Alzheimer’s Disease and epilepsy and the identification of shared upstream and downstream effectors. These shared effectors are being investigated as novel therapeutic targets in the treatment of Alzheimer’s Disease.
