Chadwick Hales, MD, PhD (Co-Chair)

Dr. Chad Hales attended the University of Georgia for B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, the Medical College of Georgia for MD-PhD, and finally, Emory University in Atlanta for medicine internship, neurology residency and behavioral neurology and neuropsychiatry fellowship. Dr. Hales stayed on as faculty in the Emory University School of Medicine and remains dedicated to his roles in research, education and patient care. He has an active basic science research laboratory studying cellular mechanisms of neurodegeneration, serves as investigator/sub-investigator for clinical research trials (AD, FTD) and is a member of the Goizueta Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center clinical core.
