Andrew Krystal, MD, MS

Dr. Krystal is the Ray and Dagmar Dolby Distinguished Professor and Vice Chair for Research in the Department of Psychiatry at UCSF. He is also Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Duke University. He is Director of the Clinical and Translational Sleep Research Laboratory in the Departments of Psychiatry and Neurology at UCSF. Dr. Krystal currently serves as Associate Editor of the Journal SLEEP and is Immediate Past President of the Sleep Research Society. His primary research is related to the pathophysiology and treatment of sleep disorders and mood and anxiety spectrum disorders.
