Albert A. (Gus) Davis, MD, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Washington University. Dr. Davis earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 2002 and his doctorate degree in Neuroscience in 2009 at Emory University, and his medical degree in 2011 at Vanderbilt University. Following Neurology residency, Dr. Davis remained at Washington University for clinical fellowship training and postdoctoral research training with Dr. David Holtzman where he studied the role of apolipoprotein E in the pathophysiology of synucleinopathies. Dr. Davis sees patients with Parkinson disease and his laboratory research focuses on basic mechanisms of protein aggregation and neurodegeneration.
