Adrienne Boire, MD, PhD

Adrienne Boire is a physician-scientist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She completed her Ph.D. in Biochemistry at Tufts University, M.D. at the University of Chicago, residency at Columbia Presbyterian and fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. After post-doctoral fellowship in the Massagué’s laboratory, she joined the Human Oncogenesis and Pathology Program at MSKCC in 2017. As a neuro-oncologist, she cares for patients with leptomeningeal metastasis. As a scientist, she directs a laboratory-based research program focused on leptomeningeal metastases. The laboratory seeks to identify and target cancer cell adaptations to the challenging microenvironmental constraints posed by the leptomeninges.
