This SIG session will emphasize recent developments in our understanding of the genetic forms of parkinsonism, Huntington disease, and the spinocerebellar ataxias.

Objective(s):

  • To learn about the genetic forms of Parkinson disease as well as Huntington Disease and Spinocerebellar ataxias.

  • To learn about recent advances in the mechanistic understanding of these disorders development of therapies for these disorders.
