Global Health is a relatively new focus area within Neurology.  This session will focus on how to build and sustain a successful career with a global health focus and, in parallel, support the career development of our global health partners.

This session will bring together a diverse group of experienced and emerging leaders in global health and neurology to discuss:

Objective(s):

  • How to build a successful career that includes global health

  • Mentorship needs of students, residents and junior faculty with an interest in neurology and global health in the U.S. and our global health partners

  • Factors influencing promotion and advancement for both U.S. faculty and our global health partners
