What is the status of the ANA2020 Annual Meeting?
The in-person meeting that was to be held at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites has been transformed into a week long fully interactive virtual meeting.
What are the dates of the ANA2020 Virtual Meeting and when will more information be announced?
The plenary sessions of the ANA2020 Virtual Meeting will be broadcast live on Sunday, October 4 and Monday, October 5, 2020 with a full week of specialized live programming and workshops to follow.
ANA2020’s virtual event brings education to you, when and where works best for you and physicians can claim a maximum of 29.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for their participation. Additionally, registration includes the ANA2020 Meetings Recording package, so you can watch and re-watch sessions at your convenience and claim CME credits for programs you may have been unable to attend live.
What options do I have to refund my ANA2020 In-person Meeting Registration?
Individuals who have registered for the in-person ANA2020 have the following options:
- Receive a full refund
- Apply to your membership dues
- Credit to 2021 Annual Meeting Registration
- If you are a non-member and wish to attend ANA2020 Virtual, we will refund you the difference.
- If you are a member of the ANA and wish to attend ANA2020 Virtual, we will refund your registration fee.

Do I need to register to participate in the ANA2020 Virtual Meeting?
Yes, you must register to participate in the ANA2020 Virtual Meeting (members & non-members). You can register online by clicking here.
What are the Virtual Meeting Registration Fees?
All registrations will include the ANA2020 Meetings Recording package.

I have been invited to speak or participate in a session at ANA2020. What does this mean for me?
All invited speakers will receive information from their session chair regarding any changes to your scheduled session. The ANA Meetings team will later communicate with you further information regarding the virtual platform, technical requirements, and other logistics.
I submitted an abstract for consideration as a oral presentation and/or poster presentation. What does this mean for me?
All submitted abstracts are still in consideration for oral and poster presentations. Poster presentation notices are scheduled to go out on June 30, 2020. Selection notices for oral presentations (formally called data blitz) are scheduled to go out on July 30, 2020.
How do I view an abstract from ANA2020?
Abstracts from ANA2020 will be available on the ANA2020 meeting website following the September 25th embargo date. Abstracts from ANA2020 will be available for viewing throughout the entire duration of ANA2020, from October 4-9 on the digital meeting platform.
Will I get a refund on my abstract submission fees?
Abstract submission fees will not be reimbursed as all submissions are being considered for placement in the program.

How do I get a refund on my hotel reservation?
The ANA is unable to cancel hotel reservations on your behalf. All hotel reservations should be canceled at the point of purchase.
